Coaching
People work with a coach when they want change.
My clients are eager to do different things, or do things differently, and often a combination of both!
I coach professionals in all sectors and at all career stages during these times of change. Sometimes we puzzle through what needs to shift and why. Other times, we follow the path of transformation together, taking action and learning along the way.
Always, we establish and track milestones so clients can become more whole, not only as well-rounded leaders and professionals, but as dynamic and adaptable people.

Coaching is valuable at several points in your career. Sometimes, that’s in alignment with career transition – searching for a new role, transitioning to a new role, or considering larger changes in career direction. Other times, coaching provides a platform for leadership and professional development in the context of your current role. Even when enjoying career success, coaching may help you articulate and live into personal values and a compelling life story. In all cases, coaching helps you become more self-aware, claim what you want, and learn from your actions.
Engagement Scope

Periodically, executives, leaders, and professionals receive feedback that mobilizes change, enhancing and improving their personal and leadership effectiveness. But most work environments are not feedback-rich, and the practice of considering, prioritizing, and creating a plan to act on feedback is not intuitive. Short-term coaching is an opportunity for you to partner with a coach who can help you use feedback to become more self-aware, claim next steps, and ensure learning from your actions.
Engagement Scope
Time the coach spends in and outside the coaching meeting to prepare, review, and plan.
Three (3) hours of coaching (typically one-hour scheduled phone/videoconferences within a 60 day period.) Our time together flexes based upon your needs, but a minimum of one hour per month is guaranteed.
Just-in-time support on an as needed basis. All emails and requests will be answered within 24 hours, and time may be scheduled to connect via phone/Zoom between regular meetings if schedules allow.

Becoming a coach is exciting and exhausting and challenging and so much more. The CTI Certification Process requires that candidates have an established coaching relationship with a coach who is certified as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF). During the certification program, you are required to meet with a mentor coach for at least one hour per month. I would be honored to walk alongside you at a discounted coaching rate as you earn your CPCC credential! We’ll co-create a relationship that works for you, whether we focus on your coaching skills and style, your experiences being evaluated, or your compelling vision for your coaching practice.

Sometimes, former clients want to drop in for 1-2 meetings to get unstuck, claim something new, or explore a new aspect of self that has surfaced since our engagement ended. A full coaching engagement is not what is needed, but just one or two more meetings with a trusted and supportive coach would hit the spot. You bring the agenda, and I’ll bring the questions and reflections.

What to Expect
A relationship in service of you
While we’ll both contribute to a trust-based dynamic, you’re the focus. Confidentiality is key to the relationship, so you can feel safe sharing as much as you feel comfortable. I won’t reveal anything from our coaching sessions, but you’re free to share whatever you’d like from our meetings with anyone.
A holistic focus on you
You are my focus. All of you, not just the professional aspects. I’ll always coach you as a whole person, even though we may be dealing with a specific, work-related problem in our meetings. The problem will go away because you’ll solve it, change it, or make it irrelevant, but you will still be here. I’m here for you.
A challenge to take action
In service of your compelling vision, I’ll encourage you to move from thinking to doing. I’ll energize you to choose the path with the most potential to discover and succeed, even if the journey to get there isn’t always straight. Becoming whole is so much more meaningful than striving to be good.
A safe space to share it all
If you’re facing a problem, upset with something (even the coaching process), having a big realization, or aren’t quite sure how to articulate everything yet, I’m here for it! Our coaching relationship is a space of respect and grace where you can communicate your questions, challenges, and triumphs.
An empowered role on your path
At times, I’ll ask if it’s okay to make specific suggestions on how to handle a problem or opportunity. My suggestions are simply ways to start action-oriented conversations, but the ultimate decision is always yours to make.
